Notice the third circle diagram to the right, how it comes out of mars.
See how it is pointed ? Do you see that ? If you do, you are getting an understanding how Martians use figurines to point in a direction of terraces in a certain location where the clean up is. When you see those larger sections of flat fake rocks with hundreds or thousands elongated etchings, they seem to be representative of Mars's planet or should I say a defined section of Mars planet. And many times they could contain figurines of sea creatures etc. Again, figurines play such a great part in the Martian story sculpture ! They are the basis of telling the story, such as the broom, the dust pan to clean up mars after the ancient calamity when Mars lost it's atmosphere ! This truly is an amazing Nasa image!
